Since 1990, Organic Products Trading Company has been working directly with small-scale farmers around the world to source high quality green specialty coffee. Our business is built on long-term relationships with Certified Organic and Fair Trade co-operatives as well as conventional farms that focus on improving their communities, their families, and their environment.

In 2004, OPTCO co-founded the Café Femenino program alongside a group of women coffee farmers in Peru. Café Femenino has spread across the globe to give women coffee farmers fair pay, decision-making power and leadership roles within their communities. To further support women coffee farmers and their communities, participating coffee roasters donate a percentage of every coffee purchase to the Café Femenino Foundation, an independent nonprofit organization that funds community betterment grant requests proposed and managed by the women farmers.
